Dr Muhammad Aaqib is one of the best neurologists in Perth. He is currently working at Fiona Stanley Hospital and has previously provided services at Rockingham General Hospital. Dr. Aaqib completed his specialty neurology training at Fiona Stanley Hospital, Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital and Royal Perth Hospital after completing an internship in 2009.

Dr. Zubair is one of the best stroke specialists and a neurologist in Perth, currently working at a state-of-the-art tertiary care stroke centre and neurology unit at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. Following an internship in 2009, he completed specialty neurological training at Fiona Stanley Hospital, Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital and Royal Perth Hospital.

After specialist training in neurology, he underwent a further year of subspecialty training in Stroke at the state’s major referral stroke centre at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, which he completed in 2020.

His clinical interests include Stroke and general neurology. Dr Zubair is actively involved in clinical trials and research at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.

He has a passion for medical education and has won teaching excellence awards for teaching medical students from affiliated universities after being nominated by the hospital.

In October 2021, he was a member of the stroke team that earned the Gold Status award in stroke care from the Angels initiative. This initiative is a collaboration between the World Stroke Organisation, European Stroke Organisation, and Boehringer Ingelheim, with the goal of improving stroke care in centers worldwide by establishing global benchmarks for best practice and enhancing patient outcomes.
